
Once your computer has rebooted, you can launch the VMware Horizon Client from the Applications menu. Once the installation is complete, you will need to reboot your computer. The installer will ask you a few questions, such as which directory to install the files in and if you want to create shortcuts. After downloading the client from the VMware website, you will need to unzip the file and run the installer. Important Note: If you receive a Mac Keychain message , select Always Allow (Recommended) or select Allow.Installing the VMware Horizon Client on Linux requires a few steps, but is a fairly straightforward process. Enter when asked for the connection server, then select Connect. When you open the VMware client, select the New Server button. Drag & Drop the VMware Horizon Client app to the Applications folder.ħ. Go to the Downloads folder and open the VMware Horizon Client. Find The VMware Horizon Client for Mac product and Click the Download button.ĥ. Some applications have trouble running over the default PCOIP protocol VLAB uses so it is recommended to install Microsoft Remote Desktop application.

When selecting a web browser, Firefox & Safari are recommended.
